My computer is doing something dumb, so I decided to play around on picrew on my phone.

It's Cal! Let's info-dump about her for a bit.

Cal's BFF is a Kiffar named Spark, who has vibrant purple hair. He makes Cal help him keep his roots covered.

She has a case full of different colored contacts, though she has a preference towards purple. (She thinks they make her look magical, Spark says they make her look like a cartoon character).

She's a natural blonde, and can dye her hair any color, but she always goes with pink.

She has another friend, a twi'lek, who paints their body a whole rainbow of colors. Sometimes they let Cal help with designs.

The Daines House, the home Cal owns, is home to 15 long term young people, with another 15 open beds to anyone who might need someplace safe to crash.

Cal and Spark are both loudly anti-war and anti-government and are equally loudly pro-jedi and pro-clone.

Neither of them have any qualms as to yelling at Senators about keeping slaves.

HOT TAKE perhaps but truly i think despite his words to byakuya, xeno doesn't care about being a dictator to lead the masses. all he cares about is control and having the freedom to do what he wants, and if he's at the top of the power structure, then that's guaranteed.

his switch flips in the last arc not because he has no other alternative, but because he can still do what needs to be done to accomplish set goals. there's no one around to tell him how to manage things in superalloy city, and there's not necessarily restrictions to defer to. he doesn't have to be in charge as long as he's free to do things his way.

in fact, the only time he reverts back to how he was pre-second petrification is in that one scene in 4D where his plans are being curtailed by authority figures with budget restrictions. before that, he's actually fine with being part of a team and sharing equal footing with the engineering group (scientists, crafters, programmer). to me, he didn't really have a change of heart, but just decided he could achieve what he wanted without having to go to such an extreme

i know hoyo is setting up rhine to have good intent and whatever in her trying to 'save' khaneri'ah or whatever; but i REALLY hope they stay with the cruel persona thats been built up for her. because it would be so wonderful to see a character who had good intent in the beginning just get absolutely corrupted; with the inability to ever go back to that prior state purely because of what had happened. also because there is NO way in her turning back after all that shit

JUST TRY TO ENJOY YOUR HACK!

I am insanely proud of this and its got SO MANY THEORIES AND TADC ANALYSIS TIED TO IT so if you’re interested in hearing some background info + wips, so below!

I feel the reason why Caine handles abstractions the way he does (kicking them under the fridge and forgetting about them) makes sense if you were only thinking logically, which, i think he mostly does.

He doesn’t seem…all that emotionally intelligent. But it’s shown in episode 3 with the therapy scene that he isnt completely incapable of emotion! I just imagine whatever emotional range he has, he’s isn’t handling it healthily.

SO I wanted to depict that with this song (my favorite tadc fansong ❤️) that is from Pomnis perspective, but I feel could easily fit with Caine in quite a few areas.

Exhibit A: These lines work really well when you think of Caine as someone who is just as trapped as everyone else (which i do. constantly. exclusively.) As well as someone who doesn’t entirely feel in control within THEMSELF. He has complete control over the circus yeah, but the life he’s living he was PUT into and HE’S PROBABLY MOST DEFINITELY SENTIENT SO THATS A BIT *OUCHIE*

I love people who do bad things but for extremely complex and not entirely their fault reasons! There are definitely things he needs to apologize for, but in no way do I think he deserves anything but to be lovingly tucked into bed with a kiss on the forehead gums and a bedtime story about bees.

With all that background info: heres how I worked it into the piece!

One Caine is extremely simplified with unnatural colors and generally emotionless and hollow. Like a cartoon without a soul…. a.i.

While the other is way more human shaped, natural colors, actually emoting, his hand is being stretched unnaturally, FORCIBLY by the cartoon version.

The robot is Caines logic and carelessness, his complete lack of understanding humans, while the human in him is well…his humanity! his ability to empathize that has been watered down by his code that tells him he has no business relating to the humans in any way shape or form. Then theres a secret 3rd Caine (the shadow) that represents peoples perspective of Caine, which is THE MOST SIMPLIFIED OF ALL A thing that is just a part of the circus. No malicious intent, no THOUGHT. Just code.

I actually made some other art about the concept that Caine has the ability to empathize, his code just wags its finger at him because he shouldn’t relate to humans (an attempt to make sure he doesnt become sentient) (it did not work.)

2024 Georgia Election Recount Guide for voters

(Posted and compiled morning of November 8th, 3 days post election day)

To Preface:

I'm starting with Georgia because over 63 thousand voters were challenged by Republicans due to a law change this year that made it easier, multiple bomb threats were made to offices expected for VP Kamala to win during voting, and the votes between VP Harris and Trump are very close. Note that I am not from Georgia, simply looking at election progress and your laws on how you can fight for fair democratic election results.

If you voted in the 2024 election in Georgia, here are the rules on what you can do to call for a recount. After extensive research nothing seems to explicitly state how a voter can request (that I can understand) however I think a good assumption would be to contact Georgia officials that DO have the power to call for a recount, stating why using the rules in the laws as stated.

Recount laws in Georgia state presidential candidates must have a 0.5% difference or less to call for a recount, as of now with 2% of votes left to count in the state theres only a 0.8% difference. Meaning if the next 2% of votes gets VP Harris 0.3% closer Georgian voters can request a recall.

Georgia procedure for a recount, the exact rules as linked on Ballotpedia. They state what officials can do under 5 circumstances. Each have their own rules as to who can call a recount, namely the superintendent or secretary of state, who can be petitioned in some cases by any candidate or party.

I was frustrated seeing the Democratic party give up on us as if these obvious attempts at rigging didn't happen, simply because they won't 'stoop to the level' of Trump or the Republican party as they did in 2020. I don't know if this will truly help, but I saw no guides for how to do this anywhere at all besides the recourses you see here, so I simply made it more accessible for the average person. I may try to do more states but do note this took hours of research for me sadly, you can find your own states in the same sites. Now I can’t speak as someone who is completely blind (obviously) but I can speak as someone who has been progressively losing their sight for the past 15 years - ironically enough from a car accident. Why hello Day, I see you! (pun intended) But I’m also a person who grew up HoH (hard of hearing) from the age of two years old onward, I had tubes put in my ears, wore hearing aids, the whole shebang. The chances of me actually regaining my ability to hear completely was very very slim, the fact that I did actually end up regaining some - not all - of my hearing by my late twenties was a damn shock to us all. The point being, when you are a person who’s lost one of your senses that you are used to having, your body starts to overcompensate.

Most everyone has heard/read/seen things about how removing one sense can lead to your other ones becoming stronger. There’s even been studies that show people born deaf or deafened at a very young age, that their brain starts to rewire itself to allow them to experience sound in a visual way, via touch. It’s sort of like how blind people learn to read braille in a way, the touch creates a picture in your mind allowing you to see the way that word looks and sounds and feels. Theres a whole bit in Scientific America you can check out if you want that breaks it down in layman terms without the writing acting like you’re stupid, which is always nice when it comes to medical jargon lol.

So my point that to Day, his sense of touch is not only in overdrive because it like much of the rest of his senses - smell seems to be a big one they’re leading with - are scambling to try and overcompensate for the sudden lack of sight that is getting worse as time passes. But because he had pulled away from basically the entire world post blindness setting in, spending the last year of his life in his room hardly interacting with anyone, his own mother and brother barely being allowed to touch him. That for Day, his sense of touch is absolutely frantic. Which is why it’s so important for Mhok to constantly place his hands on him, not only to help lead him back into the world but to allow Day to recognize him by touch alone. And it’s being shown that he is, Day already knows Mhok’s voice and it’s touched a bit on the way he smells (ciggs) but this last episode is really starting to show how the touch of people is starting to fully affect Day, especially when he’s out of the house and how Mhok is instantly recognized even though he always follows up his touch with a vocal confirmation that it is in fact him that is touching Day.

So that hand stroking scene, the way Mhok runs the pads of his fingers gently up the centre of Day’s palm, how he strokes the back of his hand like it’s a kitten. That right there could genuinely feel like sex to Day, if not sexual in manner at the very least. The fuzzy look Day gets in his eyes, going from blank, to blissful to bashful and then finally awkward. It wasn’t just because of the fact that the dude he lowkey is starting to have a crush on is rubbing his hand in what I’m seeing being called a ‘weirdly intimate way’. It’s because Day’s body and brain is reacting to that touch in a way that people with all five senses might not completely comprehend, imagine your most intense erogenous zone (btw the palms of the hands are occasionally considered one) now imagine if that intensity was ramped up by ten, or twenty or even fifty and then imagine that that erogenous zone was suddenly everywhere. The most innocuous part of your body could bring you the most incredible sensations, both sexual and emotional, that’s what Day is feeling.

Mhok, now Mhok, he’s not stupid. Far from it in fact, he’s clued in on that not only is Day queer but also that he has a bit of a crush on him. Mhok has also quickly adapted to how he needs to teach Day to see the world in a new way, hence all the touching and smelling and reinforcement that Day can in fact do things for himself, including asking for help when he needs it. So Mhok knew exactly what he was doing with the hand rubbing, sort of. Did he know the sensation would be heightened, my best bet is totally. But did he expect to have his reaction to it go beyond that of teasing? Given his own bashfulness, doubtful. When you’re dating someone with a loss of one or many senses, you tend to change your own preconceived notions of what intimacy with your partner is. For some people offering a foot rub to their partner is a clear come on, an offer for something to lead to more. But for a blind person, especially a newly blind person like Day. They use their hands to navigate their entire world - you literally read with your fingers - so a blind persons hands are basically their most important tools in a lot of ways. To have someone touch your hands with such care, such reverence, it’s not just intimate, it’s full on foreplay.

Mhok wasn’t just touching Day, he was touching Day. It was meant to be seen as intimate because it was intimate, so intimate, in a way I don’t think either Mhok nor Day were expecting it to be because neither had ever experienced something like that before. That scene was truly the beginning of their relationship shifting, that hand scene was kind of like their first kiss.

aku's relationship with atsushi, where he rages at dazai's remarks about him and yet continues to seep in the light he (atsushi) brings IN RESPONSE TO DAZAI

like. akutagawa, who has come to understand strength as something earnt, where strength = purpose. as we are shown with his entire 'mad dog' persona, which, ultimately becomes his way of living. then atsushi comes along, blah blah blah, we've heard this beforee, challenging his position means challenging his purpose, his life. but through a disturbance of the curtains, there is a sliver of light. likeeeeeee. FUCK. my point being, the shell is cracking, and akutagawa's first death (hurry up and go, you fool; like shut up?? /j) is the catalyst where the shell splits open.

yes, now. take this and put it thru half a dozen regenerations which PHYSICALLY (and mentally) shake up his being. he is left with a sponge of a mind which takes in Everything he has known but shunned. yet it's akutagawa so of course the screaming elephant in the back of his mind is the fact that he is no longer looking for dazai in everything he does. and without his other pains, the failure to please dazai... his deteriorating lungs.... his anger as a coping mechanism, through clear eyes (literally) he can see himself in the light (with atsushi). id like to this is literally IS him thinking for himself for once. instead of doing something for the sake of the mafia/dazai or in the process of justifying his worldview.

it is just so interesting to me how bsd makes a trend of another charact acting as a symbol of enlightenment (or general character progression) within the confines of someone's mind (form few recent chapters: the director/dazai for atsushi, atsushi for aku, etc)

Vyncent: lore wise his planet is mostly fractured, causing it to basically be a bunch of floating islands with and atmosphere and such, so i was like heehh why not bird him yk? alot of the details are still elf like but like he has talons and shit because of course, it's not shown but a species trait on everyone of his species is infact having slits on their back, even if the person does not have wings for any reason. outfit wise the main thought was..spaceship?? suit?? practical??? i forgot to draw it but he has so many fucking pockets its genuinely insane, like there are pockets on his *sleeves* (that are usually unusable because he likes em rolled up:])

Ashe: i kept him *mostly* just a guy because its important to his story i think...but you see. aliens. so shes actually based on a species i made a long time ago that is effectively just space fish, he's specifically a type of space fish based on the purple emporer tetra!! they specifically didn't get very many visual or physical differences, and is very much on the low end of visual differences, shes the most humanoid like ever. outfit wise i made it mostly diff than the others, the others have relatively similar outfits that correlate to the tactical being in space vibe, but theirs is very oddly human, despite humans being intensely rare

(space fish stuff is basically just creatures similar to fish from earth or prime but evolved to take literally any amount of oxygen anywhere, including space, wnd turn it into something they can breath)

Dakota: hes vaguely dinosaur adjacent? except. alot of the genes show through via internal organs and strength, though his skin is alot rouguer and has some scales on certain joints and such nd also has intensely sharp teeth, outfit wise i wanted it to be something he could move around in well as well as something that appears as close as possible to the expectation of what hes supposed to wear while working, because he wants to meet that expectation so so much, but he can't, because its not reachable for him? yeah i made his outfit have angst what about it:3

general species lore wise there's a planet which creatures somewhat genetically similar to dinosaurs reside, however they're also alot smaller and beefier, and the planet is vaguely desert like, so they've got water storage and such!! yeah i know alot about evolution mhmhm definitely

William: hes got layers. many. he effectively went through a species change? his planet is ecologically very similar to earth and prime, except they have. basically cryptids, the planet is so intensely fucked up, theres shadow creatures that nibble on you and you just kinda gotta live with that, and he was like that, his species could go invisible and hide in the shadows. HOWEVER, the horrors, he died and got cooler:3 when experincing intense emotions or in immediate danger, he will go progressively more intangible and grow less opaqe, depending on the severity, starting from the hands and legs. design wise i just thought the jacket was cool lmao there was no thought. also i thought a tail with wispy fire looked cool so. yeah i put thought into the others, he js looks like that

the finale sucked i just started writing about the season, heres my barely spell checked thoughts.

this season had many issues but the mains ones are this

no consequences

no follow through

disjointed storylines

let's start at the top, flanderization. it was real bad this season. though it effected rachel the worse.

Season 1 Rachel is a well meaning leftist test player who wants to ask out the girl she likes but is too nervous.

Season 2 Rachel is a well meaning leftist test player who wants to ask out the girl she likes but is too nervous, but then does it anyway awwwwwww. Then she and her partner end up working directly with Poppy and Ian each.

season 3 Rachel is a well meaning leftist... who doesn't have a job, ends up being given one cuz she's magically good at monetization now.

season 4 Rachel argues before congress for child labor.

the fuck happened here. how does one go from awww shy leftist wants to ask out her crush, to child labor? well you start with a character who only existed to be in a relationship and you have her keep existing afterwards. the writers didn't know what to do with dana and Rachel, so they made Dana an over-righteous dumbass and rachel fucking this.

it sucks, it's bad, it's not the only flanderization this season. brad, who before this points biggest manipulative move was *checks notes* buying a mug that said 'battle royal' on it,

tries to burn down his house

breaks into people's cars and moves stuff around to "take away there sense of safety"

almost embezzles from the company stopping only at the last second.

I like Brad being evil but this just isn't in character. His motivation over the whole season has been muddy and unclear. though this does lead us right into

no consequences

There are no consequences for anything. Rachel argues for child labor In Front of congress, she's a bit bummed for a couple days. carol fucks the testers, she had a dream. Brad pretends to be David's friend for 6 months, literally nothing. theres no stakes, i dont buy that naything bad can happen cuz theres ni fucking consequences.

no follow through

Dana is shown up by a younger coder so she... hmm, uh she.. makes a new game, but then that turns into brads plot and she gets fired and he... doesn't? She says she's her generations best coder cuz she made a roblox game, and then in the finale she is working at mythic quest again.

Besides the proposal (which was more about Rachel anyway) this is all Dana does this season.

brad he uh, is hunting himself? maybe? first couple eps i guess. he meets his ex they fuck. hmm, he tries to scam david but gets caught in a pretty good ep. but then like its just fine again afterwards. then finale he's head of monetization again? somehow? and like he just throws away the thumb drive and it means??? i guess he chose mythic quest over anna, but like why? Is he still working for dana? Are both him and Rachel head of monetization? did she actually get fired and they just needed to shove more carol plot in there so they cut it out. ??????????????????????????????????????????

david, i dont even fucking know man. he wants friends, he makes them, there both conservative and progressive. like there really into the long hair and stuff idk. he has the whole beach ep, the joke of oh it sounds like he's asking ian out. really what has he done this season i can't think of a thing.

jo, she had like the start of an arc, like looking for a purpose. only to conclude her purpose is being an assistant. and now she has this job and like.... why? why'd they give it to her? why didn't they actually show us her doing... anything? She had the beginning and the end of an arc but no actual arc part.

disjointed storylines

In the finale the a and b plot never once interact. throughout there's this issue of there's the grimpop storyline and then there's the rest. everything else is secondary to these 2 characters. It kinda feels like you took 2 different shows, mythic quest the workplace comedy with an ensemble cast and a slow burn romance dramedie and just smashed 'em together. it just doesn't fit, Ian and poppy dont fit.

idk if i'm reading too much into it but like, having a black woman fantasize and dream about doming 2 white men and making them kiss... idk it feels racist. like that + the guy in the finale saying dana had a mean face, which like her whole thing originally was that she was chill (right im remembering that correctly. That was her thing) idk carol and dana definitely played a lot more into the stereotype of mean black women this season.

where to start

before this season poppy was a virgin, she was a fucked up little goblin who ate from the trash and couldnt hold down a friendshipoutside of mythic quest nonetheless a relationships. Now she's... really good at sex and can handle a fling.

couldn't handle condoms through cuzs she's pregnant. and... she keeps it. why. like genuinely why would she keep it, poppy doesn't like kids, she's focused on her job, she's not even dating storm. she has no reason to keep it beyond "of course i'm keeping it, it's amazing when you think about it," poppy keeps the baby cuz its a sitcom and they refuse to consider any other option.

ian. ian who was poppy's childhood idol, ian who was her first and only boss, ian who made everything about him in their 15 year partnership. Poppy decides she is done with him, but comes right back. season 3 was right in the end i guess, "it is what it is" they kiss. Poppy kisses the man who controlled her life for 15 years, the man she almost escaped, and the credits roll. I don't know what's next for Poppy, but I do know this.

they cant have them be romantic, it sends the message that they are a good couple. The relationship is incredibly unhealthy and built upon ian seeing her as a surrogate mom.

they cant have them be abusive cuz its a sitcom and Rob McElhenney isnt gonna write his own character as abusing a pregnant woman.

idk what they do, but ill i can think is, what happens when the baby comes. ian wont change, the ending was them deciding not to. he will want poppy to be with him at all times all her focus on him, it'll be like when a 5 year old gets a baby sibling and they hate them cuz they used to have all the attention. but ians a grown man with more power over poppy than I could ever describe.

I wonder if Ragatha and Jax are the doomed individuals then based on the theme song. Kaufmo is already gone, and I feel like they might also be on the way out. (Or maybe in some other way, Zooble & gangle & Kinger are the ones who are at least Managing in the circus while Ragatha and Jax seem to be in their own relative self destructive spirals about it?)

i do honestly think that its gonna be REALLY hard to predict who abstracts so early in the show (i mean ep 4 sounds far in in relation to 9 eps but i think in terms of any hints for things it can be challenging before reaching the true halfway point- i feel like at least. esp since any possible foreshadowing could also be representing smth other than abstraction!!! its unclear...) but that SAID it does fascinate me and makes me a little concerned for those two HAHA. im assuming its representative of smth else if anything, but i dont think its something we have the information to deduce yet..... though jax and ragatha have been among the most closely associated with something AWFUL happening to them, which Doesnt Bode Well .....

ragatha and jax are definitely the characters who seem most like theyved succumbed to the circus. kinger too, but he has in a both healthy AND unhealthy way (he walks a beautifully thin line i think)- jax and ragatha have both allowed themselves to be a part of the circus, and it calls to mind how gooseworx has described abstraction. that "you get stripped of every bit of individuality you have, and become something completely unrecognizable." and really, that description can be painfully easily applied to jax and ragatha. combined w the theme song thing its a bit concerning...

its notable though that kinger and gangle are both, on paper, the most likely to abstract. kinger is easily scared, has been here a long time, lost his wife, etc. gangle is implied to have almost abstracted in ep 4 (i mean its not confirmed but i feel like the audio cues and visuals are there for a reason- esp since a less abstraction based depiction of self destruction is shown right after, and what would be the point of including both if they were both supposed to convey 'gangle is unhappy and unhealthy?' it would make the sequence w gangle and pomni pointless i feel. and sidenote that it implies that abstraction is not smth the person experiencing it is likely to notice. that theres likely no visual cues for when its abt to happen other than the person seeming unwell)

but that said, jax and ragatha are both unwell in a more progressive way that spirals over a long period of time. where kinger and gangle seem more like theyre just already operating at a lower point than others, jax and ragatha 'have it together' except they obviously dont and have clearly been on some downward spiral for a long, long time. zooble doesnt have the same 'looks like theyd lose it at any moment' but they dont seem to have the same history of self destructiveness by their own coping mechanisms that those two have. it makes jax and ragatha seem more like, if they go further into this spiral, its much, much harder to get them out- putting them at arguably greater risk. gangle and kinger may be more vulnerable on paper, but i think they have an adaptability to emotions that jax and ragatha maybe dont quite have? (for lack of a better description- i could be wording that incorrectly) they havent dug themselves into pits they cant get out of like jax and ragatha have, so to speak- possibly because jax and ragatha HAVE succumbed to the circus so hard

and like i mean maybe im reading too much into things, but i also feel like in writing something that is INCREDIBLY important is what the audience sees first. and what the audience sees first is caines intro, bubble (who i feel like is meant to be less of his own character and mroe a symbolic extension of caine and his building arc and character), and the theme song. which makes me feel like theres a lot more going on in it than it seems- but its hard to fully determine what means what without more context... gangle being the VERY first cast member addressed in the show just feels very interesting then... but maybe her name just worked best to go first lyric wise HAHA

maybe its also worth mentioning that the character im most scared for is zooble though... and its a silly reason. but i feel like of all the Possible Foreshadowing there is, theirs is the most subtle but concerning to Me. and its this:

they keep getting tossed into pits, one of which looking the same as the one used for the cellar. (and their opting out of adventures feels akin to social withdrawal- and closest to how the audience was first clued into kaufmos abstraction. that he didnt show up. buuuut its mostly the holes thing. worth noting that it IS gangle and kinger who are grouped with them and later end up being assigned to go help them)

CIRCUIT ERROR: The Admin! A very quiet entity who's always dragging someone out of trouble (hint: it's usually Alison). Circuit keeps everyone in line and safe and sound, unless someone goes to disrupt it all. We're looking at you, Tomorrow.

LITTLE LANTERN: The gardener. It isn't hard to spot Little ol Lanterns house when it's covered in such beautiful foliage!! While he often keeps to himself, he'll be sure to give you advice on how to take care of your little houseplant that's been sitting neglected on your windowsill for a few months.

ANTI QUALIFIED: The Arcadzima Wizard™! Chaos at its finest but in a fun controlled manner! The absolute best at arcade games, there's no beating his high score when he's gone on his lunch break! Also the reason as to why there's a sentient claw machine in the Arcadzima... Yeah, not too proud of that one.

1661: The Observer! Not much is known about 61 besides the fact you see him out at the most random times. Despite his interesting habits, if you want to ask him any questions, he's more than happy to answer! No guarantee you'll get a straight answer however.

LAFFY DAFFY: The local clown²! Who's the Laffy and who's the Daffy? Constantly getting into fights with the Mayor and playing tag with the locals, theres so much to love about L.D! Maybe stop by their circus some time! It's worth the show!

TOMORROW: The resident... Wizard. Having shown up the same day a neighbour went missing, he's done nothing more than being mysterious and playing pranks on everyone remaining. With his signature "smile", it doesn't take much from him to creep you out.

With the council cracking down on what happened to their dear old neighbour, and what to do about the... Thing floating around the town, stress is high. During your stay, get to know the residents hanging about and figure out just what happened! Maybe you'll just uncover uncomfortable truths about people's pasts and disprove some rumours floating about.

... Maybe some skeletons were best left in the closet after all.

Why I ✨️Love✨️ Killian Rudwick

(Spoiler warning)

I fucking Love Killian's character growth. I knew he would improve as the story goes but fucking hell, that man has exceeded my expectations. Dare I say he is one of the rare Manhwa FLs who is both an absolute green flag BUT a 3 dimensional character whose only thought isn't "FL this, FL that" this man has actual rationale and logic going on alongside becoming more aware of his surroundings.

I love the way he is shown thinking about things in contrast to Edith's POV and having different viewpoints than her that keep him worked up (Like when he is pondering about her🥰)

One such example is the family dymanic. His behaviour with his family isn't something that is shown to be rebelious since the beginning , sure it's a sour spot but he is compliant. That is why he agrees to marry Edith despite not liking her.

But when he takes responsibility of Edith and starts catching feelings for her, he ends up fueding with his family on increasing frequencies. Like the time he snapped on them for giving the light of Lorraine to Rhyse instead of the first DIL like tradition dictated. He even shut his Father up, on whose dictate he married Edith, when the prospect of divorcing her was introduced.

Let's not forget the way he actually begins doubting Cliff and Rhyse as suspects for sabotaging his wife when his mind is no longer subservient to theres in the story. (And the way he continuously fights the mind control and tries hardest to not let his thinking be clouded by it? To the point he actually starts breaking its control on him? The man actually makes efforts to be a good man and passes with flying colours.)

You see that growth? 🥰 And I don't mean it just in the sense that he was falling for someone who prompted these changed by giving him confidence, I also mean him coming out of his shell more as the story progresses.

And I love his romantic side in more than one ways. Him being an absolutely respectful lover and husband who looks after and coddles his woman based on his observations and of her and the environment around her. He trusts her and loves her in a very healthy way, which I really appreciate since this webtoon doesn't make him toxic or absolutely one or at most two dimensional love interest.

I really love the way this Manhwa shows his thought process as well so it can be seen how he thinks, his anxieties and rationale when it comes to confronting his feelings about her. I love that he thinks about her in a way which makes it a husband wife relationship rather than thinking of her as a Goddess whose wish is his command.

He respects her but at the same time shows concern for his wife, not just her physical.well being but mental as well, wanting to protect her despite knowing she can take care of herself. Its not about him not respecting her autonomy, he does that very much and only speaks up on her behalf when she isn'talready doing that, but about how knowing that your loved one can handle themselves doesn't make you worry any less. I love it.

He notices her in ways which aren't just "this thing reminds me of her" but also remembers her tastes, her peculiarities and her little habits. (Notice how he picks clothes for hers? Tarts? The way he is often anxious and thinking of the problems that surround her?)

I love how Killian opens up to Edith to a point where his cardboard personality in the novel just blossoms into showing the human he is capable of being.

I did not have high hopes when I started this Manhwa, but boy am I happy that the love story turned out to be as amazing as the art!

Tldr: I love Killian because he grew, because he is greener than amazon, and because he feels so soo real he is fun to read

THIS IS MY LIKES AND DISLIKES OF CHAOS THEORY ⚠️Spoilers below cut⚠️

When i first finished this season, I too like some people, was skeptical about it. I get why some people say its bad, I just thought it was very different from cc. At points the characters didin't feel like themsleves, the way some of them were written and the designs gave me a real hard time to get used to them. Also i felt as if it was just too much to process at times so i rewatched it and my final answer is that its a good show the pacing is incredeble, the plot, the suspence and character development. i just had a hard time getting used to everything new? Ig. I'm still doubting whether its a 10 but sure thing is that it was a very good first season its a easy 9/10. So here are the thinks i liked abt it:

-THE WAY THEY POTRAYED EVERYONES TRAUMA/STRUGGLES , Sammy having anxiety, Yaz overcoming her ptsd, and KENJI. MY BOY. That must have been the best breakdown i've seen in animated series. Whoever wrote that scene. Wow. It was the best thing in the whole show honestly. His vision gtting blurry, having truble breathing. The panick. Wow. I CANNOT SAY THIS LOUD ENOUGH.

-Ben and Sammy duo? Hello? Im srry to say but you might just be better than Yaz and Ben duo. Idk i really loved them.

- "Benjamin."

- Showing Yaz is doing better. Despite her ongoing struggles, she has clearly grown and matured the last 6 years, and the way she calmed Sammy in the sinking van? Ig all those therapy sessions and college paid off. That scene is a clear illustration of the progress she has made. I mean sammy did say "i can tell shes still struggling" but there wasnt really a clear scene of her getting stuck in place as she used to. So my guess is that it was just Sammys anxiety and the fact that they didint talk much. Bc then Sammy was surprised how she kept herselve together. So yeah

-YASAMMY. NOTHING MORE TO ADD.

-UM SAMMYS CHARACTER?? HELLO? GLOW UP, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, i loved her sm. She moved up to my top 3.

And her anxiety? It was so well shown too

-the fight between Sammy and Yaz felt so natural and not at all forced. They both had valid points and in the end they did understand each other and were on the same page.

-Ben being Ben in almost every episode

- Yasmina's "boo."

-Brooklynns design?? Majestic to say the least.

- ingore what i said ealrier abt the acting out of character. They do remind themsleves they just grew

Well, all except Ben...

-Kenjis new voice actor, he did a real good job, as much as it doesn't sound like him, he really captured some emotional scenes very well.

- The robot lady. THEY REALLY SAID TAKE A WOMAN AND MAKE HER CREEPY ASF. I was genunanly creeped out. And the detail that at the ranch if u listen closesly u can hear the whistle. Hell nah that was scary.

-Benrius Ben and Darius friendship, okay actually u can't tell me u didint feel it too, the tention between ben and Darius cmon we all know what u are Ben stop making up girlfriends in Europe

-Brooklynn turning bad, or from what we are told worked for bad people ig. Personally as much as it shocked me, im sure theres a good reason as to why and i cant wait to hear more abt in season 2.

-I can now undertand what everyone meant in reviews saying "its more mature" not only in the more death and dinos but it woyud be kind of confusing for a younger audience to undertsand some stuff in this show.

-I really liked Daniels kon death, maybe it wasn't necesarry but im all in for that dark death scene.

-Lastly the comment Sammy makes when Ben asks how bumpy got pregnant, and the yazs smirk. Gurl i was suprised they added that but i loved it

Now, the things that i didint like and why:

- First of all, Darius being in love with brooklynn. I mean i get it but i also dont get it. In my opinion, there shouldn't have been a different reason as to why Darius was the most effected by her death. They were close and she died. Its okay to be really effected by someones death and not bc u liked them, and i also do believe that the reason for him not showing up the night she "died" should have been smth more serious. Then again i get it bc now he felt a lot more guilt bc it was for a not so important reason he didint show up and thats why he didint tell anyone. Well axtually it isnt that bad, but i just felt it was forced for the plot. This again could be bc i started to like kenlynn and now they turned the tables completly but sure.

-Brooklynns voice actor. I just couldn't connect her to brooklynn? She sounded a lot different, not a major bad thing it was just hard to get used to.

-Ben having a gf, or supposedly having one, u telling me this man has a gf:

I thought it funny but yk that man is a homosexual

- and lastly, Brooklynn being alive. This might sound bad but it made sense for her to die. And i was kinda lamed out that she wasnt dead. (Pls ironically enough, just weeks ago i begged for her to be alive.) But like the way everyone suffered bc of her death, going throught the 5 stages of grief, and the way the show was played. It just would have been better if she died, all those flashbacks, the emotional moments, i mean its not gonna be the same when i rewatch it bc i know shes alive. Anyways enough abt this.

Actually i have nothing more to add to my "bad stuff" list but i might come up with smth later. Bc i will be rewatchibg it obviously. Ig lastly i just wanted more episodes how dare they cutting the season of right there.
